New Feeling is a collectively run, non-hierarchical music journalist co-operative. As we prepare for the launch of our online publication, members will be introducing themselves on our social media accounts. Taking over today is @wipeoutbeat!
Hi! I'm one of the members of New Feeling. I've been a writer, editor, and musician for the past 15 years, working out of Tkaronto. Currently my work can be found at @bandcamp, @aquadrunkard, @toneglow, @xtramagazine, and @musicworksmag.
I'm a member of New Feeling's editorial and community/social teams. I was drawn to this project to cover lesser known artists, share thoughtful discourse, and tell the kinds of stories that aren’t being told elsewhere. You’ll see what that means with our first issue in September!
Today, I've compiled 30 personal favourite obscure or underrated albums recorded in the traditional Indigenous territories of Turtle Island that make up so-called "Canada." Follow along in this thread!
