The more I see people fatblaming Covid19

The more I am like, goddamn there is literally no systematic failure that can't be blamed on fat people and people will just accept it
I wonder what people in fat politics think about trying to shift people to using fat BLAMING instead of fat shaming as a term

Possibly it's more clear about what is actually going on, in that the culture is blaming shit on fat people that we have absolutely fuck all to do with
I am extremely tired of the overuse of fat shaming as a concept, especially by media that always puts fatphobia in scare quotes

I think that it works alongside people's overall usage of "X blaming" as a fucking joke (😑)

To diminish knowledge of the real impacts of fatphobia
To clarify, I don't think this means that fat shaming is a bad term that needs to be abandoned

Just that it is not being used properly by people outside of fat politics

And maybe that additional terms would also be helpful
But I don't believe that one person can dictate the terms an entire community uses, so this is a thread of some thoughts, not a set of orders or commands or anything
