[WARNING]

What I’m about to tell you is powerful stuff

If you mess this part up (and most people do)

Then no matter what system or business model I show you here

You’ll not achieve any long-term results

If that's okay with you, get ready for some "ah-ah" moments...

[THREAD]
The way I see things is that

There are two different diametrically opposing ways of thinking

When it comes to building a business and making money online.

- Opportunistic thinking (Opportunity Seeker)
+ Strategic thinking (Freedom Seeker)
Most people get started with opportunistic thinking

An Opportunity Seeker is always looking for their big opportunity to make lots of money from the hot opportunity of the moment.
A couple years back I sure got my start that way.

With the little bit of money I had in the bank, I went on a buying spree.

It started slowly because I was broke.

But soon I was sucked in like a crack head needing his next fix.

I was helpless
I would hop from opportunity to opportunity.

I was an Opportunity Seeker.

Opportunity seekers buy lots of products

And they use only a few of them

And the ones they do use get abandoned

When the next so-called “easy” way to make money comes by.
The question they ask themselves is...

“What’s the easiest way for me to make money right now?”

Here’s how Opportunity Seekers (meaning everyone that makes no money)

Approaches this ‘ol “making money online” thing:
There’s a lot of things wrong with the above picture

Fortunately, there's a way out...

By exposing and eliminating these problems

You’ll be able to grow your business faster (and easier) than you ever thought possible.
These are the same overriding concepts that ultrawealthy business builders understand and operate on.

The format of this section will be similar to a medical diagnosis.

You’ll see the problem, its symptoms, cause, and an overview of the solution.

Ready?

Let's go!
Type #1: Opportunity Seeker

Symptoms:
- Money-first mentality
- Seeks the next new shiny object
- Get discouraged easily
- Perpetually acquiring new information, while rarely ever putting any of it into action.

Cause:
Opportunistic thinking

Core Problem:
Lack of Strategy
The realization was the moment

When I realized that I had become “jack of everything”

But master of none (at least that mattered).
Writing articles, yeah, done it.

SEO, yes, had done it too.

Building email lists in the way the gurus were teaching, yup, did that.

AdSense, FB ads, Chatbot. Yeah, did it all.

Some things I did, worked. Most didn’t.

But it was never as promised like in their webinars.
The results I earned as I flip-flop

From the tactic to a newer tactic was only ever mediocre at best.

Never any “home runs.”

And that’s when it hit me.

Let’s move to the archetype I named, Freedom Seeker...
Type #2: Freedom Seeker

A Freedom Seeker has a clear vision of what they want the business to become.

They analyze:

- Their own strengths
- Their competitor strengths
- The marketplace preferences

They plan different strategies for achieving their vision.
A Freedom Seeker

Knows that their biggest opportunity

Is always inside their business

Following their ideal strategy

And not the hot product/tactic/hack that everyone is peddling this month.
The Ugly Truth

Here’s some inside information that any experienced marketer will confirm…

It’s about 10x easier to sell to an Opportunity Seeker than it is a Freedom Seeker (aka real entrepreneur).

Why?

Because the Opportunity Seeker has only one criteria.
If you can convince Opportunity Seeker that they can make money with your product/tactic/hack, you’ve made your sale.

A Freedom Seeker, on the other hand, has to compare what you are offering to their current plan.

Will it make it easier for them to achieve their vision?
A Freedom Seeker manages his attraction to the newest tactic (shiny object syndrome).

He’s not addicted. He’s in control.

His attention is selective and focused because he values his time.

A Freedom Seeker puts all his energy and time towards building assets.
He leverages systems and people to build assets that can earn for him 24/7 regardless of him working or not.

A Freedom Seeker creates products/services/content that matters to the people he seeks to serve.

A Freedom Seeker builds a business.
A Freedom Seeker builds a business that earns him his freedom to do the things he cares about.

And this was the realization that hit me when I opened my eyes and saw things for what they were.

It was my very own Red Pill moment:
A Freedom Seeker builds assets for the long term.

One of the assets he builds is trust, which takes time and commitment to earn.

An Opportunity Seeker doesn’t see the value of going slow and earning money long term, so he seeks tactics and shortcuts.
A Freedom Seeker is successful because he focuses on the process of doing the right thing every single day.

Not getting distracted by checking FB feed and email for the next opportunity, but prioritizing on what’s really important.
A Freedom Seeker knows that the Holy Grail of business is to build a happy customer factory.
Unlike an Opportunity Seeker

Who sees products, emails, and even people as commodities

A Freedom Seeker believes

It’s his responsibility to not wait for money to change hands

Before starting to add value to the people he seeks to serve.
When I had made these shifts from thinking and behaving as an Opportunity Seeker, to a Freedom Seeker, everything changed.
When someone follows this mindset and process (see link in next tweet)…

Chasing the next new “shiny object” becomes irrelevant (and a complete waste of their time)

Focusing on ONE thing.
Putting all your effort, time, and mental bandwidth into ONE core business

Allows for continuous growth.

You water and nurture what is working, and test and tweak elements that aren’t.

This is how you ultimately win very big
