Things that women say they want (or don’t want!) vs what they actually mean. A running list:

Said:
I want a man who knows his way around the kitchen!

Meant:
I want a man who can cook at or near restaraunt quality or a man who can’t cook at all. Chicken stir-fries and medium-well grocery store steaks are a turn off

Said:
I want a man who isn’t afraid to support gun control

Meant:
I want a man who treats guns like the tools they are, won’t larp around in Crye, and doesn’t flip into autist-mode if somebody brings up the 2nd Amendment

Said:
I want a man who isn’t afraid to express their feelings

Meant:
I want a man with minimal feelings who is willing to express those feelings to me only in a very controlled fashion
