This #AlevelResults day it seems like a good time to stop and take stock of the inequality built into our education system, that led us to this point.

The predicted grade system consistently shows under-predicting of disabled and POC students. It can't be fixed with unconscious bias training. It needs to be scrapped.

on numbers and letters, which you can barely obtain if you don't have access to education, employment, food and housing in the first place. Of course this means Liberation groups. The system is designed so that only a handful can make it. (3/5)
In a free, accessible model we won't have just scrapped predicted grades, we'll have scrapped metrics full stop.

Anyway please sign @nusuk's petition, one of our demands is a complete overhaul of our current system of exams and grading, and calls on the UK Govt to invest in our education system
