This is to the people that have resonated with our crazy idea of turning on Afrika through ideas...
@BrianNamaja the schoolboy with ‘Two fish & five loaves of bread’ Brian baked us a cake at one of our first research meetings where we were using & compiling dissertations by local graduates to address problems in our country.
Mr Peter Sande MHSRP! The steward who opened the doors of Mutare Club to us, inspired us, one of the few Zimbabweans who saw Denzel Washington in action when he shot his movie Cry Freedom in Mutare. Mutare Club was our first client.
@trevortjames the Local Governance graduate whose dissertation on patterns of vendors in the built environment changed our approach to design.
@wasudigital founders @zivaidesire & @tynashez who taught me that no one was coming and all we had was each other and that’s why we need to stick together.
@EnocqM & his team from @creativehub_ who have always managed to make our brand look good from day one.
@BorerweFari A friend who spent all of 2018 stocking up my kitchen after I had spent all my money on PowerAfrika.
@tinashe_tildah one of my favorites. Our first ever employee. The lady that taught me what it means to be accountable to a team.
@forbesmujuru The best friend. The guy who taught me to own my story and do it for the ghetto because we are the first generation and we owe the ghetto heros!
The list is endless BUT this is what it means when you see a motivational quote that says, “Support your friend’s business’ @PowerAfricaGrp is evidence of that privilege.
