Many Ppl consider Hyder ali great....But many dont know that he destroyed Hindu Temples

One among many temple was Maa Chamundi temple of Mysore.
whom we consider the NadaDevathe
Hyder ali had plan to destroy the Chamundeshwari temple and led the siege to Chamundi hill

But due to leak of information, villagers built a wall in Garbhagudi and setup a alternative Maa Goddess Chamundeshwari and started doing pooja to it.....

Hyder ali attacked the temple and destroyed the Maa Chamundeshwari( alternate ) considering it to be original one.
And left the Chamundi Hill.

Now also the alternate Chamundeshwari is inside the temple. But no pooja is done to it
Thus How we saved the Lord Godess Chamundeshwari from being attacked by Hyder ali

The Devi we see is the original one which couldnt be destroyed by HyderAli and Many ppl doesnt know this....Even Mysorians dont know
