Regarding people who do originals in cbs:

Who cares pff its a song. If I were a judge I'd just think ''oh a song I've never heard before'' and thats it. Cos that's what it is- there are lots of songs that are covered in cbs that a good amount of people havent hesrd before

Also idk but I don't give a crap about what the original sounds like when I'm judging someone because the original is not what I'm judging its the cover that I am.

I dont care how the original was mixed or sang etc. Because it's a cover you're allowed to change it up- if you're a good singer your a good singer, if you're a good mixer you're a good mixer. I will be able to tell regardless of how the original sounded

So therefore whether its an original song or not does not change the judging critiera at all
