'When will I get my PIN?!' - a thread for those who have finished their courses and are waiting to get on the register

When youâve officially passed your course (congratulations! ) your university will: Â
upload your course and personal details to our database (so make sure the details your uni has are up to date!)
send us a declaration of your good health and character.

This normally takes around a few days - depending on weekends and bank holidays.
When have everything from your university weâll send you an email (or letter if we donât have your email address) to let you know and tell you how to create your NMC Online account.
Once we have all your details and youâve submitted your application on NMC Online you will receive an email with confirmation that you are now registered and can start practising!Â
This takes around 1 -3 days...but we know it can feel longer when you're waiting!

This means that your name will appear on the Employer Confirmation Service the same day and will appear on the âsearch the registerâ facility the next day, but as soon as you have your confirmation email you are able to work.
