if we r talking abt gray and jet being a system (i am not a system myself but from what i know thats probably the case?) its important to note that the most common portrayal of systems (having a more violent alter, like jet is to gray) is not great representation (+)

not because it doesnt happen but because its 1. rare, 2. demonizes people with did and 3. is basically the only sort of rep they get in media. id advise you to read up on what causes did and the different kinds of alters that can form, i personally find it really interesting-
