1. Both "aren't a choice"
While this might be true, pedophilia is a disorder. Being in a "relationship" (relationship is in quotes as pedophilic relationships aren't valid) with a child HARMS them for the rest of their lives. LGBT+ relationships DO NOT and SHOULD NOT harm either

partner in said relationship. In pedophilic "relationships" there's always a victim, making it a crime. In ANY relationship -lgbt+ relationships included- there should NOT be a victim.

2. Not the same because of lack of consent.
This is true. Children do not and could not understand consent in a romantic/sexual setting. The original post said how in 1275 England, consenting age was 12, that made it okay. That's still disgusting. Any and all huge age gaps in

relationships are bad, whether the youngest in the relationship is 12 or 18. It's still an imbalance of power and the younger person can be taken advantage of simply for not having enough life knowledge as the older person in the relationship. Also? it was 1275 in ENGLAND. They

threw their shit into the road, threw said waste into their drinking water sources, and blamed diseases on the Devil. how credible can they be about ANYTHING?

That's still disgusting. Animals don't have metacognitive thinking. So in their heads they are just mating. Humans DO know

what they're doing and DO know the harm engaging in pedophillic will result in.

It's true. And it's still disgusting. Though pedophilia was common during that era, it also received a lot of criticism at the time too. It also is wasn't common throughout the ENTIRE region of ancient Greece

and Rome. In Athens, for example, age and consent were both important roles in regulations regarding sexual behavior. So while pedophilia, or pederasty, in this case was common in SOME regions of ancient Rome and Greece, it was criticized and regulated in others.

The original post then goes on to say that pedophilia was made a disability in Greece, and compares it to how homosexuality was deemed a mental disorder in 1952. A pedophilic "relationship" has a victim and and an abuser. A typical LGBT+ relationship doesn't have a victim an

abuser. Pedophilia is inherently harmful in a way being that LGBT+ relationships are not.

The original post also points out how pedophiles sugarcoat pedophilia by labeling it as being a "MAP" and by having their own "lgbt" flag. Yes. They have they sugarcoat their name and have a flag. It is not an "lgbt flag". They are still pedophiles. They have no place in the

LGBT+ community nor are they welcome to have a place in the lgbt+ community.

The post continues to say that a lot of politicians and celebrities are secretly and not-so-secretly pedophiles and they influence the age of consent. I agree with that. That's the reason why the age of consent is so low in some states in the US.

In conclusion. Pedophilia is not the same as homosexuality. Pedophilia harms. LGBT+ relationships do not. Ban pedophilia, deplatform "MAPS" and pedophiles, and raise the age of consent in areas where it's ridiculously low.
