I don’t think we’re talking enough about the lasting mental health impact of this crisis. People who lived through the Great Depression hoarded broken rubber bands or whatever, what’s the equivalent going to be for everyone who lives through this hell?
It’s not the virus, it’s our government condemning (mostly brown & Black) people to death, homelessness, and hunger, and screwing working parents. Meanwhile people in New Zealand are strolling around like it’s 2019.

My baseline mental health is good, I still have my job and my home, my loved ones are healthy - and I’m a mess. A MESS. To my peeps who are struggling, I see you. I’m so worried for our collective well-being. And so, so angry.
