* The seven-day average of new covid cases in WI has nearly tripled, from 286 to 833 cases.
* The number of deaths has more than doubled, from 421 to 1,011.
* Only 6 out of 72 Wisconsin counties do not have a high level of covid activity. Legislators can no longer claim that the virus is not a problem in rural areas.
* The five biggest school districts in the state — Milwaukee, Madison, Kenosha, Green Bay, and Racine — are all starting the school year 100% online. These five districts represent ~160,000 students.
