The #baystreetsnake was reported missing off Bay Street near the Galloping Goose Regional Trail Aug 4th. It had been missing since July 2nd, but was reported to us Aug 4. We issued a public alert & worked to located it. Ball pythons aren't venomous but can bite. (2/5)
Just before 6 pm residents in the 1900 block of Richardson St. spotted the #baystreetsnake. Patrol officers responded & totally did not do this when the call came in. (3/5)
The #baystreetsnake took refuge under a vehicle. As our crisis negotiators don't speak parseltongue, Patrol officers attended & one who was (thankfully) familiar with snakes approached the vehicle. (4/5)
