Ideally I’d like to see #WonderWoman as a reformer, someone trying to rehabilitate her enemies, like Mercy. Batman would be more about Justice and punishment. Superman would fall somewhere in the middle. #DCFanDome #DCLove
As for #WonderWoman’s mythology I’d like to see a Grant Morrison-like “everything is true” take on it. Purple healing rays, kangas, invisible planes, post-Crisis god portrayals. I’d like to see Wonder Woman lean into the Greek Myth angle like Simonson on Thor. #DCFanDome #DCLove
Ideally, violence would be a last resort for #WonderWoman. And I dislike the female vs male dynamic they’ve put into her since the 80’s or so. 10 years of marriage has taught me that things only work when men and women work together. I’d focus on that aspect.
Supporting cast, I’d like to see Steve Trevor portrayed kind of like Lyle Waggoner did. He’s tough, he’s competent, he just doesn’t have powers. Etta Candy in her original short, chubby, and comfortable version. Donna Troy and the Sandsmarks (gotta have Cassie)
Power level for #WonderWoman: she’s not a girl Superman. She’s not as strong as him because she doesn’t have to be. She solves problems differently than just being physically stronger. And I can’t decide if I’d have her flu or use the invisible key. #DCFanDome #DCLove
Didn’t realize until started this thread that apparently there’s a #WonderWomanWednesday hashtag. I had no idea unto it started autofilling
