I typically try to do this kind of thing on his birthday instead of today, but got caught up in looking through my 'Ringo folder. There's tons more on the internet of course and I encourage you to go looking.

His sketch blog was my favorite thing on the internet back in the day and I eagerly checked it first thing every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Not only for the great drawings like these but he'd share thoughts and links to other artists too.

I could keep going with these all night and would probably spend an hour talking about each one. I need to get back to work, but thinking about a thread for Joe Kubert too as I always forget they passed on the same day and they're two of the three I consider foundational.
