There's immense value in the network he's creating.

It's a network full of successful people who either a.) eschewed the traditional model of education or b.) went through it and want more. They are also creators, tinkerers, thinkers, doers, dreamers, etc.

One thing that's particularly interesting about the online model of education is the way it incentivizes quality teaching and a reinvestment in your students.

This isn't an indictment on teachers of higher ed (I am fortunate to have had many great ones)...

But David - and other online schools - are uniquely positioned to invest in the success of their students.

It makes sense. I take his class. I love his teaching. Positive review. +1

I succeed because of it. I build an audience. I share WoP with them.

My success becomes his success.

He wants me to be successful because it helps him, not just cause he's a good guy. Extra incentive

My success also helps others succeed because it strengthens the network AND drives people to the course.

The investment goes beyond academics.

He gets a first look at other businesses as they're being created. He becomes a teacher, coach, consultant, etc.

I'm really impressed by what he's building and the community forming around it.

I'm blessed to be a small part of it, and I'm excited to see what the future holds.
