Going to do a thread on differentials in #fpl for every club which I feel could help to set your team apart from the norm. Doing this thread for myself really so any feedback would be great as it’s my first thread
thanks #FPLCommunity

Arsenal - Kieran Tierney While Tierney mightn’t be an obvious differential option I feel with his form after the restart was too good to ignore. Now fully fit and with Arsenal having optimal time to prepare for the new season Tierney is nailed down for me
Aston Villa - Tom Heaton Back from an injury I feel Heaton will come back into an Aston Villa defence that was much stronger after the restart. They changed their approach and looked much more defensively solid and I see Heaton as a cheap keeper option.
Brighton - Tariq Lamptey The former Chelsea teen has slotted in well as Brighton’s new number 2. With Graham Potter being fond of rotation in his attacking areas I would be put off in-form Maupay and new signing Adam Lallana with them both rotation risks.
Burnley - James Tarkowski Nailed on your start in a Burnley team that loves to see us sweat over clean sheets I see Tarkowski as an excellent differential for our FPL defences.
Chelsea - Christian Pulisic With new signings Werner and Ziyech grabbing attention, I feel the American winger can go from strength to strength in his second season in the PL as an exciting midfield differential that should regularly start under Lampard.
Crystal Palace - Vicente Guaita I can see Crystal Palace struggling this year but I can see Guaita scoring plenty of save points and if he can couple that with some clean sheets he can be an excellent goalkeeper differential this year.
Everton - Dominic Calvert Lewin Despite his form dipping at the tail end of last season I see him coming back to form under Ancellottis guidance this term. I can see him being an excellent attacking differential and a cheaper alternative to many expensive attackers.
Fulham - Aleksandar Mitrović Back in the Premier League, could Mitrović be this years Pukki? If priced right he could turn out to be an astute attacking option for our Fpl teams while staying clear of more obvious attacking options.
Leeds - Stuart Dallas Likely to be listed as a defender, the versatile Northern Irish man can add value to your Fpl defence if he plays further up the field as he did last year in the championship. This years Lord Lundstram? Perhaps.
Leicester - Jonny Evans While Leicester’s form after the break wasn’t up to standard seeing them fall to 5th, I can still see them fighting for Europe next year and Evans will be pivotal at the back and will be hoping to secure plenty of clean sheets.
Liverpool - Virgil Van Dijk Obviously not a differential strictly speaking but will certainly be less popular then TAA and Robbo when FPL players look to Liverpool’s defense for assets. I see VVD as an excellent cheaper alternative to his fullbacks.
Man City - João Cancelo I expect Man City to bounce back next term and if they are to do so it will have to start in defence and I feel Cancelo is an excellent differential option as he can play on both flanks improving his chance of avoiding Pep’s rotation
Man United - Mason Greenwood If rumours are true and Greenwood is listed as a midfielder this year, he could score big points from the right flank especially should Uniteds move for Sancho fall through. He will be less in demand then counterparts Bruno and Rashford.
Newcastle - Jonjo Shelvey With Almiron and ASM being the popular choices from Newcastle’s midfield I see Shelvey who got 15 bonus points last term being a good option for those who like to have a cheap midfielder as their 5th option that will play regularly.
Sheffield United - John Egan It really is a case of take your pick when it comes to Sheff Utd’s defensive options and my Irish bias shone through on this one. However, Egan has come up with attacking returns of late and is part of an excellent back three.
Southampton - Che Adams With Southampton preferring a front two of late, I think Adams who hit goal-scoring form after the break can become an excellent asset if he can share more of the Saints goals with the more popular Ings.
Tottenham - Giovani Lo Celso With the arrival of Hojbjerg to their ranks, I feel Lo Celso will benefit greatly from a more defensive minded player playing behind him helping him to get more attacking returns this term.
West Brom - Semi Ajayi The Nigerian centre back who scored 5 goals last year in the championship could potentially be a very cheap asset if he goes under the radar and should be considered for your fifth defensive option.
West Ham - Tomáš Souček I see the 6ft3 midfielder being an excellent option for midfield. His aerial threat from corners and frees reminds me of an Everton-era Fellaini. If listed at a good price I feel like he will be an excellent differential.
Wolves - Willy Boly Wolves’ defence with Boly in the centre has looked rock solid and with most Fpl players looking at Wolves’ wingbacks for attacking returns, Boly’s consistency could easily be overlooked but shouldn’t be.
Hopefully this will add food for thought for some of you. Obviously not a statistic based thread, just my own opinions. Any RTs or feedback will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
