2/ During Trump's press conference today, he was asked several questions regarding the Vice Presidential Candidate Senator Kamala Harris. What follows is a body language and paralanguage analysis of one particularly crucial exchange.

3/ Trump (Beginning at 1:00:02 in the video link above) continues: "I think, I look forward to the debate between her and Mike Pence because I think he'll do even better against her, than he did abo- [stutter] against Senator Cain."

4/ During a portion of this statement, Trump makes a palm-down gesture. However, if you look carefully, you'll note that Trump retracts his index finger (aka forefinger) on his right hand as he says, "...even better against her, than he did abo- ...". Notably, he also stutters.

5/ Trump is right hand dominant. Moreover, the most powerful digit on the hand is the index finger. Thus, whilst the other digits were extended, the most powerful finger on his dominant hand was retracted — ...

6/ ... revealing Trump's beta emotional tone, a weakness, a deception — and lack of confidence in Pence's debate skills (as well as his fear of Senator Harris).

7/ SUMMARY: Trump lied today regarding his confidence in Mike Pence w/ his upcoming debate against Kamala Harris. Trump believes that Pence will lose the debate. He fears Senator Harris. This increases the likelihood that Trump will replace Pence on the 2020 GOP Ticket.
