death threats and harassment are never acceptable, but ash london trying to claim that her words were taken out of context when she insulted l*uis’ appearance and her co-host or whoever it was said he was the least popular member….yeah, no. it was disgusting and unnecessary and
unbelievably unprofessional and she 100% deserved to be called out on it, though obviously not to the ugly level that it reached. she has never once taken responsibility for her behavior or the behavior of the person on her show, and even her half-assed “apology” in the aftermath
tried to minimize what she’d done by saying it was “lighthearted.” insulting someone isn’t lighthearted when they’re not in on the joke, ash london. she didn’t even have the most basic level of human decency and respect for someone while she was doing her job and i will never
forget that. nobody else should either. stan culture for a lot of fandoms - all of the ones i interact with, in fact, and that includes the people trying to feign moral superiority right now - goes way too far and takes reasonable and deserved criticism to a level of trolling and
threats and doxxing, and that should be called out. but anyone acting like ash london did nothing wrong is full of shit. and anyone acting like l*uis didn’t have the right to defend himself when she insulted him and had no respect for him and didn’t even bother to offer a
genuine apology is also full of shit. celebrities don’t have to just lay down to be your human punching bag and then smile and say thank you. this wasn’t even just some random attack on the internet, which he receives all the time. this was someone who was meant to be doing their
job and who he was kind to while he was doing the work of promoting his music. and she insulted him along with her co-host and laughed about it like it was a hilarious joke. just because she felt like it. just because she could. most other artists would NEVER be so blatantly
disrespected by a radio host they had just provided an interview for, and if they had, they would’ve been defended properly by a team, which never happens with l*uis. if he didn’t defend himself, nobody would. and if she’d apologized genuinely and reached out to apologize to him
for being so unprofessional and rude, i doubt he would’ve said a word about it. you can call out toxic fandom behavior without trying to pretend ash london is a saint or trying to act like l*uis is somehow a shitty person because he had the nerve to not let someone insult him and
laugh it off. y'all would never expect anyone else to take abuse like that from someone in a professional context but you expect him to because you don't value him as an artist or even just as a human being. fuck off with your hypocrisy and preaching about treating people with
respect unless you're going to hold ash london and her co-host to the same standard. and please do everyone a favor and leave l*uis' name out of your mouth. he has more kindness and humanity in his pinky toenail than most people tweeting about him have in their entire bodies.
