The parallel between Law and Sengoku, a thread:

A lot of op new gen, old gen parallels can be really forced by the community when their basis is extremely vague and doesn't really stick. But this one in my opinion is very feasible given the evidence.

First off an obvious similarity, the Love/hate partner relationship law has to Luffy, is almost identical to that of Garp and Sengoku. I shouldn't need to go into the garp Luffy parallels lol.

Sengoku and law always trying to keep things in check, while garp/Luffy are carefree

Next clear similarity, both have a key character trait which is their strategic and planning prowess.

Both Sengoku and law are highlighted multiple times to be very strategically astood. To me that's law's greatest trait easily.

In this moment law intentionally let's smoker know he's going to greenbit, as part of his plan knowing he'd report it to akainu, while Sengoku intentionally leaks info for Whitebeard to go along with his plan.

Most recently in this arc law took the commander and chief position in terms of planning and strategizing the invasion plan, which has gone perfectly so far. Just like how Sengoku lead in marineford.

Lastly the evidence that staples this parallel is the actual relationship between the two. Well their relationship through Corazon, it ties the two together, Cora was like a son to Sengoku, and like a big brother figure to law.

Law and Sengoku just like lufffy and garp, are very similar but went different paths, that's why I really like the panel of law looking down while Sengoku looks up, like a ying and yang.
