Yep, she has done harm that needs to be accounted for. That is for certain. I also think it is really telling how quickly we are to tear down Black women on social media. (2/5)
Note that “tear down” is not the same as “critique” or “show disapproval of.” We need to acknowledge that we as a culture have been socialized in a deep-seated hate for Black women, and to keep that in mind in our assessment of Sen. Harris. (3/5)
I’m still not excited about a Biden/Harris ticket. And also, I recognize that this country is in much, much deeper danger if we don’t vote to remove the current administration.
