Good writing should be effortless to read. It is not effortless to write. It takes a crazy amount of work and is a lifelong process. I don& #39;t think I& #39;ll ever have it nailed down. Topic sentences is something I try really hard to do well (high MB), and I think it pays off.

Secretly hoping this tricks some internet trolls into reading my unpublished papers and unintentionally improving my papers, with gotcha examples where I& #39;m not still not nailing this :-)
