Confession time: I feel like I have a hard time fitting in on Twitter. I get flirty with my LGBTQ friends but seem to not be “queer enough” to count. I make a stand and in 2 minutes? Ignored. I dislike hashtag communities for their abuse so I’m seen as unkind. Where do I belong?

I wouldn’t normally care but I have about three real-life friends at the moment and they are all far away, and we’re in a pandemic. Why am I not queer enough, sincere enough, outspoken enough, smart enough, pretty enough, tough enough? What am I and should I be here?
