Here's the thing about AOC.

Whether or not I agree/disagree with her on everything? Or even something important?

She has the character and integrity I like. Do you understand what I mean? So even if we disagree...she's a good person, an earnest person doing what she believes is
right...AND she has demonstrated that her position is ALWAYS open to change based on new evidence, what her constituents want, etc.

That's what I want in my politicians. Those are people we can build a better world with.
And...if that changes? I'd put her out on her ass.

See that's the other thing. I love AOC because of the character and integrity she demonstrates. Should that change?

So too would my opinion of her.

She's not on a pedestal, nor should she be. She's a good PERSON. Human.
And will make mistakes as we all do. Will misstep...as we all do. But how one handles that, again...that's what I want in MY politicians.

I think and hope that's what we all want. But clearly that's not the case. And people need to stop treating politics as sports and start
treating them as the servants of the People they are. They serve us, which doesn't mean disrespecting those who serve us, but it means holding them to account and making sure they are doing the job we pay them to do for us.
