Leadership is a fascinating science and is delivered in many ways at many levels.

When I was first asked to do this, feature I was like “nah,” I’m not a “leader,” I don’t want to be thought of as a “leader.” However, after speaking to a great friend for some perspective they
told me if you could get one message across through this feature, what would it be and view this “ask,” as a chance to keep sharing what you have been sharing. So than I said ok, and that message I wanted to get across is the same one I speak to constantly - planning, law,
engineering, real estate, land assessments and all of these other practices are not neutral they all have legacies of racism and ableism that continue to play out today; we have to keep pointing to these truths to actually move towards abolishing these systems, including policing
which is linked to all of these fields in order to truly be able to move towards building just cities and communities for those who’ve never known what “peace,” and “belonging,” looks like while living in a city or any other communities not built by them.
More on where and how I spent my time in Ngorongoro, Tz when I lived in the best neighbourhood in the world, where my neighbours were a group of giraffes 🦒 and a leopard 🐆 that once spent the night on site on our solar panels.

Beautiful memories. https://m.youtube.com/watch?feature=youtu.be&v=GTt654RUV80
