I think there’s a lot of voters who loathe Trump that will more persuaded with “look, Biden’s not great but getting rid of Trump is important” than “Biden is a deeply good and honorable man who has always been fighting hard for you.” Stop selling what people know isn’t true.

I mean there are some things Biden and co. could do — even now! — to genuinely spark some of the enthusiasm they’re trying to pump up artificially. I think they would greatly help to sink Trump once and for all.

But they don’t want to do those things. So! This is where we are.
