Okay, y'all. We're in late afternoon on the East Coast. Let's start thinking about where we are.

Our nominee, the next POTUS, @JoeBiden, made a spectacular VP choice. We're all behind this ticket and we couldn't hope for a better 2nd in command.

Joe will pick a cabinet after...

... the election. It's fun to speculate but may be counterproductive. The prize to have our eye on is in Nov. Stay focused.

This will be won on GOTV. This time it's complicated by covid and the GOP efforts to suppress voting by mail by hamstringing USPS. It will also be a ....

.... first time voting by mail for a lot of people. Some will find it too complex and won't return their ballots. Some will mess up their ballots. Spoilage rates are in excess of 20% due to user error...

... so we need to help train people about how to do their ballots. There are a ton of resources in the form of training videos out there but it's hard to get people to watch them (celebrities, maybe you can help)....

We need to keep a watch in being careful about information we share so that we're sure it's right. Let's avoid sharing what we haven't read.

But here we are. A great nominee who as President will be able to focus on rebuilding government and getting us back to normal....

.... It's been a hell of a time. We should celebrate every day, now, but we need also to get to work.

PS - don't feed the trolls. There is zero point with engaging the far left to try to get their votes. They'll be adults or they won't but arguing with them won't change their minds. Debunking is good; changing their minds is a waste of time. Hit 'em with receipts and move on.
