I do not understand the conventional wisdom that Kamala Harris is a "centrist" or a "moderate." She has one of the furthest left voting records in the Senate. She supports maximal M4A. She wants to send $2K/month to Americans during the pandemic. Etc. What gives?

Surely it can't be that the words "liberal" & "moderate" have been rendered all but meaningless by being drafted into the endless identity-based disputes of Very Online factions, can it?

The red rose brigade is pointing to Wall Street's relief that Warren isn't VP ... as a mark against Harris. But of course, if it had been Warren, the brigade had a whole bullshit list of reasons why SHE wasn't a True Progressive either.
