Here's goes nothing, probably my first ever proper thread. And honesty is the best policy.

We started 2020 on an absolute high, we fulfilled our biggest orders ever.

It was amazing, we were on track to make our first decent profit in ten years.

And then COVID.
It was those 2 orders that have kept us afloat this year.

But many businesses were not as lucky as us, many still not allowed open.

The Restart Grants are not fit for purpose, for those feeling the pain now, yes they will help.
The true cost of this pandemic will not truly hit home until January 2021.

Businesses are hanging on to the dream of Christmas trade etc.

In January 2021 we will all need help, and these bizarre rules and regulations attached to all of these Government aids will prevent many
From accessing the true assistance that they need. @merrionstreet needs to talk to actual business owners, not just the power houses that are the lobby groups and employers bodies, who whilst doing a fine job, do not understand what it is like on the ground.
And there is my tuppence worth.
Oh and feel free to RT, I would to see who agrees with me.

It would make a change 🤣

@PaulQuinnNews this thread kind of sums it up for us at the moment. An industry with no powerhouse of a lobby or employers body.
