My bf really redefined my version of what a man is. I’ve made plenty of excuses for men’s behavior in the past, & he stepped in & showed me exactly I shouldn’t have, because I was never asking or expecting too much of them. He showed up & showed me exactly what a MAN is

This man makes it happen. He traveled over 800 miles to see me MULTIPLE times during the pandemic. Both flying and driving. I wanted to learn to do my own nails - he bought me everything I needed. I wanted to budget better, he showed me an entire system & held me accountable.

I said I didn’t want to leave him after our vacation - we cancelled my flight and drove halfway across the country the NEXT morning so he could stay with me. I mentioned that I needed new art supplies, he showed up with them. I told him my moms favorite wine, he brought her some.

He saw my love for plants and got involved himself and learned. He knows I love to garden & he’s at my parents house helping my dad garden and learning as we speak while I’m at work. This man is incredible to me.

And all materialistic things aside, this man knows all of my traumas and checks in with me daily to be sure that I feel both loved and safe. If that isn’t a man I don’t know what is
