You are not safe from a BAN if you used something illegal in the past and wasn't caught. Doesn't matter when, eventually using something illegal years or months ago, could lead to a ban now.

Also having alts that used cheats on the past could lead to a ban on your main.

And if an account really N E V E R used or did something illegal since the very first day of their acc, neither on the main or alts, there is a very small chance that your account is innocent and got a false a BAN. Those normally get manually checked and cleaned.

All I am refering on this post is related to CS:GO based on bans that I've seen happening over the years on the community.

I got no idea how BANS work or what is wrong or what is right on CS:GO and Steam, only VALVE and their devs know. Just don't cheat and you'll be safe...
