Expanding on my last tweet. Modern “queer wokeness” has demonized gay men and lesbians. Since we are ‘’’monosexual’’’ people look at us as regressive/restrictive. This line of thought has led to the creation of ‘bi/pan’ lesbians-

Which erases lesbian history and perpetuates the idea that lesbians just need to find the right guy. On the side of gay men, homophobia directed towards them (and all mlm) is now seen as a quirky joke. People will spew shit like “gay men are the straights of lgbt”-

Completely brushing over and mocking the AIDS epidemic. Your hatred for gay men and calling the lesbian flag a “TERF dog whistle” is not progressive, it’s homophobic.

Side note this thread is in no way ment to billitle bisexual people. All of you are completely valid and I love you, but rather this is directed at people who see attraction to only one gender as biphobic/restrictive.
