i’ve been homeschooled my whole life so seeing people complain about online school surprises me. but then i have to remember y’all aren’t used to this so i want to give y’all some tips that might help (don’t take these as facts this is just what helps me)
note: i have ADHD and it mainly affects my focusing.
1. try and have a set schedule

schedules have always been helpful for me. i always give myself a half hour to an hour to get ready, eat, and clean up my work area. +
also if you want time to scroll through twitter, tiktok, etc wake up 2 hours early to give yourself and hour to an hour and a half to yourself.
2. if you’re able to, listen to music.

this one might not work for everyone but it works for me. just put headphone in and just listen to music. try different styles and artists to find which one helps you focus more
3. if your phone is being distracting, delete some of the apps or put a screen limit on them. (and/or turn off notifications)

yes this sounds stupid but has helped me so much more than just putting my phone away.
4. if you’re to scared to ask for help, GOOGLE IS YOUR BEST FRIEND

for my biology my mom let me google pretty much everything and it helped me so much. and for math download the app photomath. it helped me get done with math in like 30 minutes instead of 2 hours
5. if it’s not a zoom class take breaks!

if i get stressed or tired i’ll go and get the mail or do something else. do something to get you to move even if it’s getting something to snack on or going to the bathroom
anyway i wish you all the best of luck this year and i hope you guys find something that works best for you! remember this is just what works for me https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="💕" title="Zwei Herzen" aria-label="Emoji: Zwei Herzen">
also i just realized i should clarify with the google one

yes you should try and learn as much as you can BUT if something is just stupid and you don’t understanding don’t stress yourself out. it’s not worth it
