The idea that the chairman of the Joint Chiefs should call in the military if Trump loses the election and refuses to leave the White House is an extraordinarily bad one, and I'm amazed that this debate is even taking place. https://slate.com/news-and-politics/2020/08/trump-military-civil-military-coup.html
The Oval Office is not Sauron's Ring of Power. Simply squatting in it does not confer power. Once the Electoral College votes, and Jan. 20 rolls around, the military follows a new commander-in-chief (assuming Biden wins).
If Trump doesn't leave, the military and agencies such as GSA (which holds the keys to the White House and other federal buildings) start taking Biden's calls from Wilmington (or wherever he is) instead.
Peaceful transition of power is important in a democracy. And it's a really bad idea to start unnecessarily toying with the idea of involving the military in it. Let's not start chipping away at more norms when we don't have to.
