getting a LOT of messages asking for advice about starting an OF. I think the experience is different for everyone, but if you're thinking about starting an OF, here are a few tips I have from my experience (thread):
1) use my referral code hehe so OF takes less of a cut (15% instead of 20%), you still get 80%, and I will get 5%: https://onlyfans.com/?ref=24947255
2) only post whatever YOU are comfortable with posting. while OF is popular for pornographic content, there are plenty of non-nude pages and you do not have to post anything you don't want to!!!! I post a few lewds and take dm requests for more but my page is non-nude
3) adding to above point, if you are concerned about leaks / it tracing back to your work/education, use the pay per view function in messages. you can send people custom photos so that if something does leak, it's easier to trace back to who did it vs something on your main page
4) OF is honestly NOT a great platform in terms of protecting creators. when I had things leaked in the past, they did nothing to protect me or take down the content and did not even respond to my emails. keep in mind that what you post can unfortunately be leaked & be prepared
5) in terms of promoting, have your OF link everywhereeeeee. I shamelessly keep it on my name. yes, people will come as you (as you have seen with me) but who gives a FUCK. know what you're doing is right & good for you, and the more they come at you for it, the more that people
will see your OF link and sub to you ❤️ I also keep my link in my bio, I plug it in various tweets, etc etc. wherever people can see it, make sure they see it and get your bag!!!
6) don't use income you earn recklessly as you do have to pay taxes on them. also keep in mind that you can get tax deductions for things like makeup, clothes you buy, etc for your content
7) on your OF, include a link for an amazon wishlist!! subscribers love to buy things from there for you ❤️
I'm writing this during my lunch break so this is all I have time to write for now, hopefully this helps & I can return to this later with more details! if you have any other questions, feel free to comment them or dm me (full disclosure I may not see them/have time for them)
8) lastly, remember that your work is valid, real, and respected. as long as you're staying safe, taking care of yourself, and not harming anyone, you are doing great. if sexists & misogynists try to tell you otherwise, make sure that your voice comes out louder (and it will)
block button also exists/turning off comments for your sanity, whatever floats your boat! just remember to believe in yourself and know that you are the only person who has any say in your body & your choices.
