Something that should hopefully help brighten up your week.

I’ve gone back and found the biggest win in any competition for all the 2019-20 League One and League Two clubs.

In the case of wins by the same margin, I’ve picked the one with more goals scored.
#EFL @d3d4football
7-1: @ASFCofficial
#asfc initially went behind to Bolton Wanderers, but after Josh Earl was sent off, they ran riot.

A goal for Dion Charles and braces for Colby Bishop, Sean McConville and Offrande Zanzala as they tore #BWFC apart at the Crown Ground.
#EFL
1-4: @AFCWimbledon
Marcus Forss was something else for #afcw in the first half of 19-20, and he bagged a hat-trick here at Southend United.

Ryan Delaney got the fourth as the Dons cruised to victory against #Blues at Roots Hall.
#EFL
5-1: @BlackpoolFC
#BlackpoolFC had a couple of big wins over Morecambe last season, the biggest of which came in the EFL Trophy.

Ben Heneghan, Michael Nottingham, Ryan Hardie, Sulley Kaikai and Joe Nuttall all scored against #Shrimps in this Group Stage match.
#EFL
3-1: @OfficialBWFC
It wasn’t a great season for #BWFC last year, and their biggest win came with very few in attendance.

A 3-1 home win over the #mancity U21 side, with Ali Crawford scoring alongside a Chris O’Grady brace.
#EFL
3-0: @officialbantams
This was in August, which feels like an eternity ago now.

Goals from James Vaughan, Clayton Donaldson and Sean Scannell saw #BCAFC see off #oafc in comfortable fashion.

That’s pretty much as good as it got for the Bantams...
#EFL
3-0: @Official_BRFC
Cheltenham Town usually don’t concede a lot of goals, but they did when they went to the Memorial Stadium in the League Cup First Round.

1 for Jonson Clarke-Harris and 2 for Tyler Smith as #BristolRovers beat #ctfc 3-0.
#EFL
4-0: @burtonalbionfc
A Second Round EFL Cup home tie against Morecambe.

Liam Boyce got his first, and as it turned out, only hat-trick for #BAFC, with Ryan Edwards scoring the other Burton goal against #Shrimps.
#EFL
4-0: @CambridgeUtdFC
#CamUTD wereninvolved in a few 4-0s last season. 2 of them were positive ones.

There was a 4-0 away win at #Stags in September, and a 4-0 home win over #ECFC in October.

7 different scorers across the two games.
#EFL
1-4: @officialcufc
Forest Green Rovers must be fed up of playing Carlisle United.

There were 4 meetings between #WeAreFGR and #cufc last season. The most impressive one was in January, a 4-1 Carlisle win at The New Lawn.

Joshua Kayode and a Nathan Thomas hat-trick.
#EFL
4-1: @CTFCofficial
In just the second league game of the season, #ctfc showed what they could do to teams with a 4-1 home win over Scunthorpe United.

Coming from 1-0 down, Ryan Broom, Charlie Raglan, Alex Addai and Conor Thomas all put second half goals past #UTI.
#EFL
3-0: @ColU_Official
#ColU love a 3-0. They did it 5 times last season.

Home and away to #cufc in the League. 3-0 at home to #STFC in the League Cup and 3-0 away to Swindon in the League, and then 3-0 at home to #pafc in February.
#EFL
1-4: @Coventry_City
Matt Godden’s favourite scoreline.

#PUSB earned back-to-back 4-1 wins at #Chairboys and #TRFC on 29/12 and 01/01 respectively. Godden got hat-tricks in both.

They also beat #ECFC by that scoreline in the EFL Cup First Round back in August.
#EFL
4-0: @crawleytown
This one came from nowhere.

At a time when Northampton Town looked near-impossible to stop, Nathan Ferguson, Beryly Lubala, Ollie Palmer and Mason Bloomfield as #TownTeamTogether beat #ntfc 4-0 in Boxing Day.

Safe to say, it surprised me a lot.
#EFL
5-0: @crewealexfc
Back in November came one of #CreweAlex’s best attacking displays of the season.

Playing at home to Morecambe, Oliver Finney score twice, with Tom Lowery, Charlie Kirk and Ryan Wintle getting the other goals as Crewe smashed #Shrimps 5-0.
#EFL
1-7: Doncaster
Just a pure Southend horror show.

#Blues initially went ahead despite having 10 men, but ended up with just 9 players and 7 goals conceded to #DRFC.

1 each for Ben Whiteman, Kieran Sadlier and Alfie May, 2 for Kwame Thomas, and 2 Nathan Ralph own goals.
#EFL
5-1: @OfficialECFC
I know #ECFC fans would love me to put the Devon Derby in here, but under the rules I’ve applied, it’s got to be the win over Oldham instead.

Jayden Richardson, Matt Jay, Archie Collins, Ryan Bowman and Brennan Dickenson all scored past #oafc.
#EFL
0-4: @ftfc
It was a great performance by #ftfc at Goodison Park. The only problem was that hardly anyone was there to see it.

Danny Andrew, Paul Coutts, Paddy Madden and Wes Burns got the Fleetwood smashed the #EFC U21 side in the EFL Trophy.
#EFL
0-4: @FGRFC_Official
#WeAreFGR twice hit a team for 4 last season.

1 was in an FA Cup First Round tie against Billiericay Town, but the more impressive one came in September.

A brace from Matty Stevens alongside goals from Aaron Collins and Ebou Adams at #WeAreSalford.
#EFL
5-0: @TheGillsFC
Early in the season, against a very young Bolton Wanderers side, #Gills ran riot at Priestfield.

Olly Lee got a brace, with an own goal and strikes from Connor Ogilvie and Brandon Hanlan completing the rout against #BWFC.
#EFL
5-2: @officialgtfc
Initially going behind to Port Vale, #GTFC turned the game around in style.

Jordan Cook, Moses Ogbu, Matt Green, Luke Waterfall and James Hanson all found the net for the Mariners in a 5-2 home win over #PVFC.
#EFL
0-5: @IpswichTown
Bolton Wanderers had a few 5-0 defeats early into the season. This was another one of them.

Braces for James Norwood and Kayden Jackson, with Gwion Edwards also on the scoresheet as #itfc smashed #BWFC away from home.
#EFL
0-4: @leytonorientfc
Quite impressed with how many of these big wins happened away from home. #LOFC managed theirs at Grimsby Town.

They took #GTFC apart at Blundell Park with goals from Daniel Happe, Josh Coulson, James Alabi and Josh Wright.
#EFL
5-1: @LincolnCity_FC
Unfortunately, I’ve got to be Bolton Wanderers in here again.

#ImpsAsOne beat #BWFC 5-1 at Sincil Bank in January.

John Akinde got two late goals, with an own goal, Harry Anderson and Tyler Walker providing the others.
#EFL
3-0: @thesilkmen
It was #Silkmen’s first win of the season, back in August, and was arguably their most impressive display.

At home to Leyton Orient, Theo Archibald, Emmanuel Osadebe and Theo Vassell all scored past #LOFC in a very good home win.
#EFL
6-1: @mansfieldtownfc
#Stags had a very underwhelming campaign, but they did have some moments. The most notable was a 6-1 win over Oldham in October.

Nicky Maynard scored 3, with an own goal, Dapo Afolayan and Jimmy Knowles providing the others.
#oafc ended up with 9 men.
#EFL
1-4: @MKDonsFC
#MKDons biggest win came against Southend United in the League Cup Second Round.

Rhys Healey, Callum Brittain, Hiram Boateng and Sam Nombe all found the net against #Blues at Roots Hall.
#EFL
3-1: @ShrimpsOfficial
#Shrimps did not have a lot of big wins last year. This one came in a game that didn’t matter.

Andrew Tutte, Aaron Wildig and Luke Conlan scored in an EFL Trophy win over Carlisle.

That game is best known for a run by a certain 17-year-old...
#cufc #EFL
4-7: @NewportCounty
There weren’t a great deal of goals in #NCAFC games last season.

This one was an exception.

In an EFL Trophy game at Cheltenham Town, Taylor Maloney and Tristan Abrahams both scored hat-tricks, with Matthew Dolan getting the other.

#AmberArmy #ctfc #EFL
0-4: @ntfc
#ntfc saved their biggest win for the game that mattered most.

Playing Exeter City at Wembley, Ryan Watson, Callum Morton, Sam Hoskins and Andy Williams all scored as the Cobblers blew #ECFC away.

They’re now a League One club because of this result.
#EFL
5-0: @OfficialOAFC
Talking of teams getting blown away, #oafc did this in February to Newport County.

Danny Rowe scored twice, with Zak Dearnley, Tom Hamer and of course Jonny Smith getting the others as they completely tore the #NCAFC defence apart.
#EFL
0-6: @OUFCOfficial
New Lincoln City boss Michael Appleton did not have a fun first game to watch from the stands.

Tariqe Fosu scored a hat-trick, with Jamie Mackie, James Henry and Matty Taylor getting the others as #OUFC completely cruised past #ImpsAsOne in September.
#EFL
6-0: @theposhofficial
#PUFC had a fantastic frontline throughout 2019-20, this game against Rochdale was perhaps the best example of it.

A hat-trick for Ivan Toney, two for Marcus Maddison and one for Mohamed Eisa as Posh tore #RAFC to shreds.
#EFL
4-0: @Only1Argyle
To October with this one, when #pafc put in a top class first-half display against Leyton Orient.

Joel Grant, Zak Rudden, Callum McFadzean and a Joe Widdowson own goal had Argyle 4-0 up on #LOFC before the half-time whistle had even been blown.
#EFL
4-1: @Pompey
I was at this game against Southend United, and surprised to see it as #Pompey’s biggest win in truth because it took them a while to get going.

John Marquis eventually found the net, with an Ellis Harrison brace and Marcus Harness securing the win.
#Blues #EFL
3-0: @OfficialPVFC
Considering how well #PVFC did last season, it’s a bit surprising that this home win over Colchester was Vale’s biggest.

It was a great performance though, Tom Conlon putting the Valiants ahead with a second half Mark Cullen brace seeing off #ColU.
#EFL
5-2: @officiallydale
Back to the League Cup First Round for this one, when #RAFC saw off a very young Bolton side.

Callum Camps got a brace, with Ian Henderson, Rekeil Pyke and Oliver Rathbone scoring the others past #BWFC.
#EFL
6-1: @OfficialRUFC
Bolton Wanderers really do feature way too often in this thread...

#RUFC took #BWFC apart in September. Braces for Freddie Ladapo and Carlton Morris, with Ben Wiles and Jake Hastie getting the others.

All from initially being 1-0 down as well.
#EFL
0-4: @SalfordCityFC
Away at Cambridge United in January, #WeAreSalford showed just how much firepower they do have at disposal.

Adam Rooney scored twice, with Ashley Hunter and Ibou Touray scoring the others as they comfortably saw off #CamUTD.
#EFL
3-0: @SUFCOfficial
It’s not been a very memorable season for #UTI, but their biggest win came on 3 separate occasions at Glanford Park.

First against #Shrimps in September, then against #ntfc in October, and then in the EFL Trophy against #SAFC in November.
#IRON #EFL
3-0: @shrewsweb
There weren’t a lot of goals scored by #salop in 2019-20, and their biggest win came in the EFL Trophy.

Fejiri Okenabirhie, Jason Cummings and a long-awaited goal by Dave Edwards in a 3-0 win over the Newcastle United U21 side.
#EFL
3-1: @SUFCRootsHall
Overall, it’s been a miserable campaign for Southend United, but #Blues did pick up a couple of decent wins.

They won 3-1 twice, firstly against #afcw in the EFL Trophy, and most recently against #BristolRovers in what ended up being their final game.
#EFL
0-4: @StevenageFC
A bad league campaign on the pitch for #StevenageFC, which makes this win at Cambridge United all the more unusual.

Elliott List, Jake Cassidy, Charlie Carter and Charie Lakin all found the net as Stevenage thumped #CamUTD in their own backyard.
#EFL
5-0: @SunderlandAFC
As far as first home games go, Phil Parkinson could not have done much better than this.

Duncan Watmore, Chris Maguire, Lynden Gooch, Will Grigg and Luke O’Nien all scored as #SAFC thrashed #TRFC at the Stadium of Light.
#EFL
4-0: @Official_STFC
The eventual League Two Champions won 2 games by this scoreline.

The first came in October when Doyle got a #STFC hat-trick at #TownTeamTogether.
The second came on Boxing Day when Anderson got 3 at home to #CamUTD.

‘Wellensball’ at its best.
#EFL
5-0: @TranmereRovers
I feel we’re not going to have this scoreline when Tranmere meet Bolton this season. Could be wrong though.

Morgan Ferrier scored twice, with Ollie Banks, Connor Jennings and Stefan Oayne scoring the others as #TRFC steamrolled #BWFC at Prenton Park.
#EFL
6-0: @WFCOfficial
The final game of the EFL Trophy Group Stage.

Forest Green come to the Bescot Stadium with a much-changed, inexperienced team.

The result? Three for Josh Gordon and one for Wes McDonald, Liam Kinsella and Cameron Norman as #Saddlers destroy #WeAreFGR.
#EFL
1-4: @wwfcofficial
And finally #Chairboys, who saved their biggest win for the Sky cameras.

Nnamdi Ofoborh inside 2 minutes, Joe Jacobson STRAIGHT from a corner, David Wheeler and Alex Samuel as Wycombe destroyed a #ftfc side who ended the game with 9 men.

Play-Offs eh?
#EFL
And that’s the list.

I’m hoping I’ve got all of these right as there were a lot of games to get through.
Apologies if I’ve made an error somewhere, and hope you enjoyed anyhow.

Roll on the new campaign!
