What do you think is happening, promo-wise? I feel like even if SBT bails out, SME still has some tricks up their sleeve for promos, and I'm just confused with where they're going.

I mean, a lot of what we're seeing - tie ups, radio shows, and the like, those are all promos. I'm just confused with the overall direction of where they're going, and what song should we actually be focusing on.

Usually, for KPop groups, they release the title tracks in advance, before the full album. I'll use BH as an example. With MOTS:7, the title track is ON, which they did release in advance. It's a good title track as it has English lyrics and a collab with Sia.

After releasing ON, they then released the full album. This strategy allows your music to kind of 'grow' on your listeners, especially if it has varying languages.
@SB19Official-wise, the closest to this would be either be Go Up or Alab, but then, those were released way back.

Alab was released in late December, while GITZ was released in July. So ekis na yan (I would assume they might have considered releasing it after Alab, but I'm not entirely sure they already had LG EDM that time. Maybe not).

It's a little tricky - unlike the other singles, the rest of the album did not have combined languages to be a title track. HSH is in pure Filipino, LG is in English. The dilemma then is, in what language should the title track be in?

They chose HSH - ok, nice. But what about international promos? This now is where LG takes center stage.

On the surface, the strategy looks pretty neat. But with what I'm seeing, I'm confused. The bigger promos, i.e. MTV, new videos - we're seeing Love Goes.

It's kind of eclipsing the promo that HSH needs in order to shine, at least locally. @SB19Official now has 300k monthly listeners - awesome, but imagine the growth if the promos were coordinated in a way that they're focusing on their title track. If HSH is getting an MV...

I feel like we should be hearing more of HSH first? It just feels a little scattered to me. Even the song for TM makes me confused because it's Alab. Haha. Although I don't blame them for it, it's a catchy song for a product ad. It's just, I can't associate their album with it.

Considering that A'TIN is still relatively small, it's a bit difficult to work with 2 tracks at the same time. Not underestimating at all, just trying to do some math in my brain. Double releases are great, but only if you have the resources for it.

Social media traction can only go so far (but very far if backed with SBT and SME promos), but with a still-growing audience, it might not be as effective as we'd like it to be. To me, it now looks a bit disorganized rather than strategic. This could've worked if..

Either one of the tracks was released in advance. That way, we already have more resources (hopefully) to work with, and hopefully more casuals/fans to help promote? I don't know, really. There's a full week of menpa, and I feel like they'll be putting stuff out.

I just wish that whatever they decide to put out will give more clarity to the path they want to take, just so we also know what we can do to possibly help out, promo-wise. Otherwise, it'll just be random bouts of energies going everywhere - possibly waste.
