A proposal for the @Orioles & @SimplyAJ10 -

The continuing tributes to Mo Gaba are a reminder of everything that sports can be to a person, a community, a fan base, an organization, and a city. Mo being in the O's HOF is a fitting honor, but I can think of something else 1/

I propose Mo Gaba is officially named the Orioles 10th man (much like the 12th man w/the @Seahawks). Fly a flag with the name Gaba & the number 10. Hang it from the warehouse or put it somewhere in the kid's play area. 2/

Furthermore, I think the number 10 should be retired. I can think of no more fitting tribute to that young man than to have his name forever linked to Adam Jones, who was one of his favorite players and who exemplified the heart of Baltimore while leading this team. 3/

Because of the number of fans (like myself) who will forever associate 10 w/Mr. Jones (no disrespect to Miguel Tejada or Terry Crowley) I'd love if Adam would sign off on this & if schedules permit come to a ceremony where we could honor Mo AND Adam... 4/

...since we fans never got a chance to properly send off the man who over a decade led the charge and brought pride back to the orange & black. 5/

So anyway, that is my proposal. I hope it will at least be considered as something meant with the best of intentions. 6/done
