And when I say “lie” I mean anything from a straight up denial, to underhanded manipulation and guilt tripping

And I’m not saying they necessarily lied **to you** rather, they were consistently lying about these matters and you observed this behavior and likely internalized it.

The best way to deal with these lies is by setting firm boundaries. If you have a 12H Neptune, and your family continues to lie about their mental health, LET THEM. You don’t need to be the one to enlighten them, you don’t need to prove it’s a lie, that’s THEIR cross to bear.

if your family refuses to take your mental health seriously bc they can’t see their own hypocrisy, set a firm boundary by refusing to talk about your mental health with them. They don’t need to be involved just bc you feel indebted to them for “dealing” with you.
