Should I be worried that the former nuisance bar across the street has sidewalk tables out? Hoping it’s a good sign of a change of personality and format.
Just to fill you in, the pre-lockdown format was general dodginess (using it as a landmark with taxi drivers drew raised eyebrows and smirks), doorkeepers not letting people in, occasional street fights (usu. involving people older than me, which is almost impressive).
Not rooting against a legit business in a city but hoping for more neighborliness.
Before I’m accused of moving near an airport then trying to ban flights, this was not in operation when I bought my flat, then was in a different but quieter format as of when I moved in, only later to get annoying.
(Now to read up on Ixelles rules for this kind of thing, not to stickle but to know.)
Correction: *We bought the flat. Wasn’t sure @eboswellrega wanted to be associated with this thread. Also held back that one of the violent outbreaks in question involved a staffer and a woman, extremely ugly scenes.
