If you’re a business owner or you’re trying to get a job there’s an overload of applicants to jobs right now.

As a hiring manager in the tech consulting space here’s three quick steps on how to stand out

Thread below!
STAND UP AND STAND OUT

Y’all if your LinkedIn profile is dated and or has little information how is someone to gauge what you can do?

Get this updated pronto.

Detail the experience you have with specific apps.

Do not list out the job requirements; this doesn’t help me
GET INFORMED

If you’re applying for a job, know the company. I can’t tell you how many people ask what we do when they’re applying for a job.

Wait really? You have no idea what you’re applying for?? PEACE

Read the job description, the website, Glassdoor, really anything!
LISTEN

You need to make the hiring manager feel good about themselves and about hiring you. How do you do that? Listen to every word they say and add in banter so they know you’re listening.
ASK FREAKING QUESTIONS

Y’all when I say “do you have any questions?” You better have 10 different questions ready to rattle off.

What does the growth look like? How often do you promote? What was your revenue last year?

Ask questions or head for the door.
If you half ass any of the above then you’re not really looking for a job. You’re looking for someone to hand you a paycheck.

Master these simple things and watch the offers roll in.
