If somebody is telling you to

- cancel @netflix Netflix
- stop drinking @CostaCoffee or @Starbucks

They are not really psychologically helping you.

Let me explain why

👇 Thread 👇
WRONG ADVICE

This is NOT the solution to becoming wealthy

saving $8 per month on Netflix
saving $4 per coffee

The average person would visit a coffee shop once a week = $16

Netflix is a monthly sub = $8 - $12 per month

(with some great documentaries)

👇
Now this is based on the average consumer, the middle class.

If you spend more, then you must recognise that moderation is important.

🔑Dont waste money, but stopping these things wont hugely impact

👇
DANGEROUS THINKING

This contributes towards a SCARCITY mindset

Hear me out;

Scarcity due to subconsciously making one feel there is an finite amount of money

But money is simply numbers, which are infinite

🔑 There is no shortage of money

👇
UP-SKILL

What you actually should look to do, instead of save money

🔑INCREASE your income

by using your spare time to learn a new skill that pays more
