Brahmins are in power everywhere you go - South Asian organizations, academia & corporations. They are paraded for their contributions to ~representation~ and their caste is erased through positionality as people of color. @KamalaHarris isn't just a South Asian, she's Brahmin.
The conversation around @KamalaHarris being the 'top cop' prosecutor, that Black abolitionists are pointing out, is also deeply connected to her identity as a Brahmin. Upper caste South Asian feminists, similar to white feminists, uphold the carceral state.
