I'm so tired of seeing the jealous/psychotic Mimzy trope where she can't stand that another woman is with Al. I'm so sick of seeing people write her as a slob who never yives a shit about her own appearance, who doesn't clean herself and smells like stale cigarettes

And don't even get me started on how all of this perfectly aligns with fat-phobia. Mim doesn't have a "pretty little defined waist," so she's not worthy of being with "such an attractive man," but your chosen fem!character is so dainty and flawless, unlike her.
So Alastor /obviously/ loves them because of that, because being bigger would /obviously/ automatically make you unlovable and he doesn't wanna be seen with a plus-sized person, oh no, that'd be horrible.
Dear god just give it a rest. Because you're clearly imposing your own conceptions about beauty/body image onto these characters, and using Alastor to voice your own prejudices bc you know that if you did it yourself you'd get called out.
Just..... Alastor wouldn't care about the body. He wouldn't care about the looks the coloring, the hair, anything.
He'd care about the person. About the soul and personality of them.
And I don't mean this as in "he'd look past it," no. He wouldn't look at the physicality at all.

It wouldn't matter at all to him. Yes, he'd care about the grooming and if they put effort into their appearance, but it's the effort he'd appreciate, not the outcome.
