The carbon and oxygen in your body - that came from stars. The iron in your blood - from a star that exploded in a supernova. We are *literally* made of stars. This is one of my favorite facts about astronomy...or really, about the world. About life. About us! #WednesdayWisdom

This gets to the essence of connection - we are connected, *viscerally* - to the universe. But that means we are also connected to each other. All of us - all of the human race - we have the same origin. And that is the cosmos. #WednesdayWisdom
