A reminder, as Jewish institutions and leaders celebrate the Jewishness of Kamala Harris's spouse, that a huge percentage of synagogues, today, wouldn't allow them to be married in their building. That entire mainstream movements of rabbis would refuse to officiate their wedding.

And if Doug Emhoff (Kamala Harris's husband) wanted to become a rabbi, he'd be barred from Reform, Conservative, Pluralistic, and Orthodox seminaries, because he is Kamala Harris's husband.

Because apparently this needs to be said, this post is not about whether people should support Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in the presidential election.

I will be voting for Kamala Harris as Vice-President. This is a very strange reaction to a post that is not about Kamala Harris's qualifications for office.
