In my early twenties I wanted to become rich, so I studied millionaires.

And I started to spot a pattern.

All the self-made millionaires I knew had one thing in common.

They had all trained a fighting sport.

THREAD
I wasn’t emotionally ready to handle it, so I started lifting weights. This was my gateway drug.

Over time I built enough confidence to start training BJJ. I started relatively late (26 or so).

The road was long and hard. I got smashed over and over again.
Through this process I essentially rewired my own brain. I became a different person. Developed an unbreakable personality.

Then I started standup sparring. Again I got smashed, but I kept going.

Over time I hardened. I cared less about losing. I even started winning.
The funny thing is, my increasing levels of comfort with physical violence correlated DIRECTLY with my income.

The more I became in touch with my inner beast the more money I made. Even though my job had nothing at all to do with fighting.
The PROCESS of developing my ability to physically compete with other men changed my mind and body such that I became wired for success.

I still train every day to become better at fighting.

I am by no means a world-class fighter. I am still very much an amateur.
But my MENTALITY is unbreakable.

I will fight anyone in the world, win or lose, right now. I am afraid of no man.

I carry an aura of indestructibility with me everywhere I go. Men respect me instinctively without even knowing why.

I can demand absurd sums of money and be paid.
In short, I became dangerous. And this translates directly into more success in every other area of my life.

Moral of the story:

TRAIN A COMBAT SPORT
