Reflecting on the last week or so. Seen a few comments I want to address..

FAR from it. Most of the fans ire won’t have touched anyone else’s thoughts. Some surprise at appointing Holden, but we’re still well regarded with a great set up

I reckon at least 18/24 clubs in our league would love to have our owner, our stadium & facilities and our trajectory, which is still on the up on any averaging metric you want to use.
Just look at Derby, SW, Wigan etc - shambolic and we’re far from that on serious matters

The comms have been far from good on many occasions. Not sure why that’s the case but from the season card refund mess to SLs interview to delays in announcements. If i was in charge I’d be doing a big problem-solving exercise to let everyone air views & provide improvement ideas

I mention on @OSIBpodcast & I’ve said it before, but if you honesty believe that SL doesn’t care about football only rugby, then seriously, have a word. £100m+, annual investments of £10m to cover wages. Having a world class coach in one doesn’t mean you can in the other

Finances are totally different in the two sports, and money spent on football far outweighs the rugby.
Bristol Sport & SL see the two clubs as equal footing, and if that means we keep developing training grounds and hotels and retail piazzas etc to benefit both, then fantastic

To summarise, there are characters who many don’t like & some people who need to improve at their job and output, but it’s a club still very much in a better position than it’s ever been on a number of fronts, and got our best league positions in 40 years. I’ll take that
