Before I sleep, I've been mentally noting inappropriate behaviour/ questions in Twitch chat and I thought I should actually list it out so here we go:
1. Regardless of how close you feel to a streamer, do NOT ask them about their sex life, and do NOT ask their partner in chat.
2. Don't ask for a streamer's real name if it isn't immediately available in the info provided on their socials, especially as one of your first messages in chat.
3. Read the rules before sending a link. Still don't send one without asking. Unless it's a clip you just took, ask.
4. I understand current circumstances makes life difficult but please find help if half your messages in chat are about how bad your mental state is. Chat cannot help you and some people watch Twitch to escape thinking about feeling bad, and don't want to see this reminder.
In addition to this, lots of discord servers have vent channels you can express your worries in and hopefully someone can send you in the right direction for help. Comfy chat =/= a place for you to dump every negative thing on your mind. It's a place to chill and have fun.
5. Don't try and bait a streamer to raid you. Don't tell people you're trying to bait a streamer to raid you. If the streamer wants to raid you, they'll raid you. Trying to bait them will result in you being blacklisted from their future raids.
6. Don't back-seat a streamer who clearly knows what they're doing. You're just gonna get banned.
7. Stop trying to make a streamer agree/argue with everything you say.
8. If a streamer isn't laughing at your constant "jokes", chances are you're not funny to them. Please stop.
I'll add to this the more observances I make, or if y'all come up with more.

But for now I sleep.
9. Adding to 1, don't ask a streamer or their partner about details of their relationship. I got asked what nicknames we use, and responded with "that's personal info". It's not your right to know, it's not your place to know. Just don't ask.
10. Don't beg for gift subs. I've purposely blocked people so they can never get a gift sub from me when I gift bomb because they've begged to get one and bitched when they haven't gotten one. Don't do it. You just come across desperate and needy and annoying.
11. Twitch Chat is not your diary. I understand sometimes you want to give a play by play of what you're doing but Twitch Chat ain't the place. A lot of times you're just clogging up chat. Please be mindful of what you're saying and how often/much you're describing your day.
12. Say hi or something small like that to alert the streamer of your presence when you come into a stream instead of immediately bursting into how your day went should you fail to understand Twitch Chat is not your diary.
13. If a mod or a streamer are being icy towards you, stop trying to force a friendship. Friendships happen naturally, not through being a super annoying presence in someone's life. The same thing goes for Twitch Chat.
14. If the streamer says "Don't do that or I'll ban you" and has continually timed you out or deleted your messages that same stream, don't be surprised if the streamer bans you.
15. Don't fucking spam donations because you got banned. That's real fucking cringe, bro.
BET Y'ALL THOUGHT I FORGOT ABOUT THIS THREAD.

15. DON'T FUCKING TRY TO GET A STREAMER TO AGREE TO MEET UP WITH YOU IN THEIR 200+ VIEWER CHAT, YOU DUMB FUCKS.
